Rigging Practice Test
Twenty-five questions on rigging equipment for material handling, with every answer traced to the paragraph of 29 CFR 1926.251 or 29 CFR 1910.184 it comes from — sling identification markings, the inspection each shift and the annual chain inspection, the conditions that put a chain, wire rope, fiber rope, web or metal mesh sling out of service on the spot, splice and clear-length rules, hitches, the minimum diameter of curvature, and the safe operating practices that apply to every sling. Where the construction rule in 1926 differs from the general industry rule in 1910, the question says which one it is asking about. This is a review tool: the training and the qualified people your employer owes you are still required.
