1. What the site is
SteelToeTools ("the site") is published by LSEA SAS ("we"). It provides free informational tools: calculators, document templates, safety talks, practice questions and educational content for construction, manufacturing and occupational safety.
2. Informational purposes only
The content and tools are provided for general information and planning. They do not constitute legal, engineering, medical or safety advice and do not create a professional relationship. Calculator results are estimates: verify them with your supplier, engineer or a qualified professional before ordering material or performing work. Document templates must be reviewed and adapted by a competent or qualified person for your specific jobsite, equipment and the federal, state and local requirements that apply to you. Using a template does not, by itself, establish compliance with OSHA or any other standard.
3. No affiliation, no certification
SteelToeTools is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the U.S. Department of Labor, or any standards organization. Our practice tests and courses are study aids only. They are not OSHA Outreach Training, do not satisfy any regulatory training requirement, and no card, certificate, license or credential is issued or implied.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use the site and its output. Do not rely on the site as your only source for safety-critical decisions. Do not use the site in any unlawful way, attempt to disrupt it, or scrape it at a scale that harms its operation.
5. "As is" — no warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We work hard to keep content correct and current, but standards change and errors can occur.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LSEA SAS, its officers, employees and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, including injury, loss of profit or business interruption, arising from the use of or inability to use the site or its content. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case these limits apply to the maximum extent permitted, and nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law where you live.
7. Intellectual property
The site's original content, design and code are owned by LSEA SAS. You may print and use the documents you generate for your own work, and link to any page. You may not republish substantial parts of the site without permission. Government works cited (OSHA, NIOSH, CFR) are in the public domain; standards from NFPA, ANSI, ASME, ACI and others remain the property of their publishers and are paraphrased and cited, not reproduced.
8. Advertising and links
The site displays third-party advertising and links to external sites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content.
9. Changes
We may update these terms and the site at any time. The date at the bottom of this page tells you when the terms last changed.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France, and any dispute that cannot be settled amicably falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the registered office of LSEA SAS, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in your country or state of residence.
